10 AM-3 PM | The Autolawn Euro Classic Car Show

Are you a fan of vintage cars? Spend the day on the lawn with fellow enthusiasts, sipping a drink, enjoying live music, and admiring a curated lineup of classic European automobiles. The Autolawn Party is a free event and open to the public. Highlights include the car show, food, music, a beer garden, merchandise, and awards ceremonies.

This year’s theme, “Roll Out the Red Carpet”, celebrates HMA’s reopening and our newest exhibition. Registered drivers are invited to dress in the era of their vehicle, whether that’s poodle skirts, bell bottoms, Members Only jackets, or another time period look. Costumes are completely optional, but they’re always part of the fun.

10 AM to 2 PM | Wheel of Fortune & Plein Air Painting of The Autolawn Event

If you buy a raffle ticket for the Wheel of Fortune, you’re automatically entered into the drawing for the plein air painting.

Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the event. Can’t make the event? No worries! You do NOT have to be present to win!

12:30-2 PM | Live Music with Bob Sinclair and the Big Deals

Bob Sinclair and the Big Deals is a North Carolina-based acoustic band known for its upbeat blend of gypsy jazz, swing, Americana, folk, country, and classical influences. Led by songwriter Bob Sinclair, the group combines original music, Southern storytelling, and rich acoustic instrumentation to create what they describe as "front porch swing music played by happy people." For more than 15 years, the band has performed at festivals, wineries, and venues across the Southeast, earning three North Carolina Grassroots Artist Grants for Sinclair's songwriting and national exposure on Song of the Mountains.

2:15 PM | Awards Ceremony

Please check in between 8:00 and 10:00 AM to pick up your registration materials. While you're here, enjoy breakfast available for purchase from Main Chick, and complimentary coffee will be available.

If you are planning to haul your car to the event in a car trailer, please follow the directions below to drive to the designated parking area after parking your car at the event. The GPS address for the lot is 104 3rd St NE, Hickory, NC 28601.

The number of award places is based on the number of entrants on the day of the show. We will award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class that has a minimum of 3 entrants.
